Rank badges: Adult staff & Royal Air Force Adult Sergeant (A/Sgt)
An Adult Sergeant (ATC) is the first of the uniformed ranks, and is a Senior NCO rank (SNCO). The badge of rank is the same as the Cadet Sergeant rank, other than a guilt "ATC" which is worn at the bottom of the chevron and the RAF enlisted cap badge rather than the Air Cadets cap badge.

Adult Flight Sergeant (AFlt/Sgt)
Adult Flight Sergeant (AFltSgt) - After 4 years of being an ASgt, you may be put forward to this rank. The badge of rank is the same as the Cadet Sergeant rank, other than a guilt "ATC" which is worn at the bottom of the chevron and the RAF enlisted cap badge.

Adult Warrant Officers (AWO)
Every Squadron has an Adult Warrant Officers (or AWO's) who is in charge of discipline and uniform etc. A WO does not hold a commission, so they are not saluted, but they are called Sir or Ma’am on ground of seniority. A 'coat of arms' badge is also worn by senior or ex-service WO's
