E-mail Print PDF
Five cadets from 1360 (Stapleford and Sandiacre) Squadron Air Training Corps have successfully completed the expedition required for their bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The cadets did a fifteen mile walk with an overnight camp in the White Peak area of the Peak District.

Flying Officer Phil Prudham, 1360 Squadron’s Duke of Edinburgh Award Officer, said “The five cadets did extremely well because they walked in an unfamiliar area where typically Silver standard expeditions are held.   The training and practices that they had beforehand certainly paid off because they did not get lost and completed the route with no problems. “

The successful cadets: Thomas Barber, Matthew Carré, Emily Edwards , Liam Osbiston and Abigail Jones.
